| Drakes' Mike bows out after 25 years Raddenbury, who joined Drakes when it merged with fellow plumbers merchants Modena, received gifts and a cake at a special retirement lunch held at Aqualisa's training department in Westerham.
Aisher said: "Mike joined Modena and then, when that company merged with Drakes , he found himself reunited with Steve Williams and me.
He praised Raddenbury's commitment and dedication, especially during the floods of October 2000 which had a silver lining since they caused the branch to be completely rebuilt to a much better specification - "Mike got to do it his way".
Raddenbury, in turn, praised his colleagues and clients saying that the best thing about the job through the years had been "the people I've met and the people I've worked with". |
