MLQU hosting technopreneurship, plumbing seminars

Manila, Philippines - The Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU)-Medwest Technical Skills Training Center (MMTSTC) will hold lectures and seminars on the emerging science of technopreneurship and skills competitions in modern plumbing, pipe-fitting, and plastic welding at the MLQU in Quiapo, Manila on February 25.

Medwest Technical Institute (MTI) president Engr. Lino Diamante and MLQU School of Engineering dean Engr. Rogelio Avenido said the events have the theme "Technopreneurship ­ A New Challenge for the Filipino Academe, Professionals, and Industry."

ighlight is the induction of new officials of the National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines (NAMPAP)-Manila Chapter.

Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim leads the guests of honor and speakers.

The others are Secretary Joel Villanueva, director general of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Commissioner Alfredo Y. Po of Professional Regulation Commission, Engr. Virgilio Simbulan, chairman of the Board of Master Plumbers of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and NAMPAP national president Engr. Jaime Cabase.
