Homes filled on eco-street

ECO-HOMES in an affordable housing scheme are increasingly being occupied by new residents.

The street of 14 two-bedroom homes is Wulvern's first full development of eco-homes.

Each property has under-floor heating and air source heat pumps, which should reduce energy bills by up to 15 per cent, and carbon emissions can be expected to be reduced by up to 20 per cent against a conventional gas central heating system.

The homes are traditional designs, built on a former factory site.
